Smokin’ Joe’s BBQ Oklahoma

We met some friends in Oklahoma City and they suggested stopping at Smokin' Joe's BBQ on our way to Texas and we're so glad we did!

As you head south on I-35 you'll pass by Smokin' Joe's Rib Ranch and RV Park. Since it's an RV park as well there's turn around parking for big rigs.  Exit I-35 and go about 5 mins down the highway till you see the signs for the RV park. The restaurant is just past the entrance.

We arrived after the lunch rush but there was still plenty of people enjoying the BBQ. They have all different kinds of smoked meats. We got a platter with several and the kids got hamburgers which were thick and meaty. They were large enough that we actually cut them in half to share.

The kids really liked the pickle bar too!

Even though we weren't officially introduced I think the owner and his wife were there talking to guests. They seemed really kind and were great with our kids.

The restaurant was clean, the people were nice, and the food was fantastic. Smokin' Joe's BBQ is a great place to stop as you're traveling from Oklahoma City to Texas.
