Pops On Classic Route 66 Oklahoma

Pops 66 is easily one of the best places we've stopped at as we've traveled across the US!

Pops is an iconic diner and gas station located on the classic route 66 through Oklahoma. You'll spot it quickly with the large neon soda bottle and straw at the front of the station.

The next thing you'll immediately notice after parking is the glass walls of the building all lined with soda bottles. All kinds of colors and flavors that you'd be hard pressed to choose.

We took the chance to sit down and have dinner. They serve burgers & fries and more. Jaxon said the chicken strips were the best he's had!

The inside is divided into to two sections. We sat in the restaurant area where there was a line of booths and a bar with bar stools. On the other side, is a convenient store style area with isles of treats and snacks. Don't forget the fridge area with rows and rows of all flavors of soda!

Outside there is plenty of grassy space to stretch your legs.

Everyone picked a soda or a treat! Dinner was topped off with the best ice cream sundae we've had in a while. Even now we still talk about that ice cream and how good it was.

Don't pass up a chance to stop at Pops 66 if you're in the Oklahoma City area!
